Breathwork is a guided practice that uses intentional breathing patterns to regulate the nervous system, release emotional tension, and increase presence in the body. At AERARA, breathwork is gentle, trauma informed, and focused on awareness rather than force. The goal is not altered states, but grounded clarity, emotional regulation, and reconnection to self.

Sound healing uses vibration and tone from instruments such as crystal bowls, chimes, voice, and gentle rhythm to support relaxation and inner stillness. Sound works directly with the nervous system, helping the body shift out of stress and into rest. This practice does not involve trance or suggestion. Participants remain fully conscious and in control at all times.

Yes. The practices offered through AERARA are aligned with Jewish values of presence, kavana (intention), and caring for the body and soul. Breath, sound, and rest are natural tools that the body already uses to self regulate. There is no worship of other entities, no invocation of foreign belief systems, and no spiritual intermediaries. The work is grounded, embodied, and supportive of avodat Hashem through clarity, emotional health, and self awareness. Participants are always encouraged to engage only in ways that feel aligned with their personal halachic and spiritual framework.

Cacao is a natural plant made from pure cacao beans, prepared as a warm, non intoxicating beverage. It contains mild compounds that support circulation, focus, and heart openness, similar to foods like dark chocolate. At AERARA, cacao is used as a grounding ritual, not a spiritual substance. There are no prayers, ceremonies, or beliefs attached to it. It is optional, modestly dosed, and offered simply as a supportive, nourishing drink that helps participants slow down and arrive more fully in their bodies.
At AERARA, it is not used in any religious or spiritual worship, and no meaning is ascribed to it beyond its physical properties. Participation is always optional, and alternatives are welcomed.
